White Noise

Troy Diffenderfer

“White Noise” was written by first-time publishing author Troy Diffenderfer and is being published by Pennsylvania-based Owl Publishing House. Diffenderfer, a life-long resident of Lancaster County, has written for various publications including Fly Magazine and Lancaster Newspaper. “White Noise” is his first published collection of stories, which were all inspired by popular rock n roll songs. “I always wanted to combine my love of music and my love for all things spooky,” Diffenderfer said. “I started working on the book two years ago. I had gone to a Glorious Sons’ show and the lead singer told a story behind one of his songs, ‘White Noise,’ and that kind of got the ball rolling.” Other stories in the book are inspired by songs such as “The Ballad of Curtis Loew” by Lynyrd Skynyrd and “Call Me” by Blondie.
